| | Hiking here in Alaska is a must. Bird Creek Trail is located quite a long drive from Anchorage but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. There are many hiking trails in the Chugach Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains.
Glide down the rapids of Sixmile River in a kayak; a good site to camp here at Bird Creek Trail is Coeur D'Alene Campground. Camping is available at Henry's One Stop. Gotta get out of the city man, and Bird Creek Trail in Anchorage Borough, Alaska is such a great place.
