If you feel like a little side trip, try Moose Pass. There's so much to do here at Carter Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Primrose Landing Campground is a wonderful place for that. All our national parks are tremendous sites to visit, and Kenai Fjords National Park is no exception; you can run the rapids of Sixmile River. There's whitewater |
on Canyon Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and Carter Lake Trail is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, A Creekside Trailer Park is a brilliant local campground.
Summertime highs at Carter Lake Trail ordinarily tend to be in the 60's. Once the sun is down it
