Grant Lake Trail

  Grant Lake Trail is a trail quite far from Anchorage but It's always fun to hike here. If you come at the right time of year, Canyon Creek offers some good whitewater. Ptarmigan Creek - Chugach National Forest is a great local campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Sixmile River. Grant Lake Trail is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Trail River - Chugach National Forest is a pleasant spot to camp nearby. Lots of folks from Moose Pass come to
    Grant Lake Trail; the views at Kenai Fjords National Park will blow your mind. Looking for some flowing water? Try Grant Creek. The yearly precipitation here at Grant Lake Trail is about average. Of all the months in a year October
is the one with the most rain, and May is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summer months at Grant Lake Trail highs are commonly in the 60's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Grant Lake Trail tend to be in the 10's.
