Gotta get out of the city man, and Paradise Valley Trail in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska is a great place to go. If you are in Alaska during hiking season you have to go hiking. Paradise Valley Trail is not very near Anchorage at all but trails like these are great. Get yourself into |
a kayak and hit Nellie Juan River. There's so much to do here at Paradise Valley Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Primrose Landing Campground is a perfect location for that. There are some magnificent whitewater spots
| on Whitewater Outfitter - Backcountry Safaris. If you came to camp Lower Paradise Lake Cabin - Chugach National Forest is a delightful place to do that. If time allows, Kenai Fjords National Park is a national park worth visiting. At Paradise Valley Trail throughout the warm months highs are in the 60's with night lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Paradise Valley Trail. | |
