Hey, time for a hike don’t you think? Turkey Trail in Newton County, Arkansas is the outdoors at it's best. Turkey Trail is not very near Harrison at all but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it.
Don't forget to check out Tow Point since you're here at Turkey Trail. Turkey Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Dogwood Campground is a wonderful local campground, |
and why not stop at nearby Walnut Creek since you're here at Turkey Trail.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Turkey Trail with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures
| at Turkey Trail sink into the 20's. And that's not all there is to do here in the Boston Mountains. There's whitewater on Big Piney Creek for all you thrill seekers, and while you're here, you could visit Bear Creek. You can run the rapids of Stepp Creek close to Turkey Trail, and camping at Dad's Dream RV Park is always a wonderful experience.
