  In the Front Range there are many great hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. With so many outdoors activities available in Colorado you'll never get bored. High temperatures at Abyss Trail all through the summer months are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and night lows at Abyss Trail during the winter usually fall into the 0's.
There's so much to do here at Abyss Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Beartrack Campground
    is a glorious place for that. Some of the water close by flows, like Lake Fork, and there's whitewater on Clear Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Abyss Trail is very far from the nearest big city and you always have a good time when you're hiking along it.
An average
amount of precipitation falls at Abyss Trail; the month with most of the snow is April, and June on the other hand is the driest. Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and if you happen to be in Park County of Colorado, Abyss Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do in the Front Range. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Abyss Trail has to offer, you can camp at Burning Bear Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Clear Creek.
