In the Front Range there are many great hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Arapaho Pass Trail in Grand County, Colorado is just the place. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Front Range has to offer. If you are in Colorado during hiking season you have to go hiking. Not much rain falls here at Arapaho Pass Trail; the wettest month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February.
| At Arapaho Pass Trail all through the long summer days highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows at Arapaho Pass Trail during the wintertime typically drop into the 0's. Wheeler Basin is a glorious spot here at Arapaho Pass Trail. Camping at Arapaho Pass Trail is brilliant fun, Crater Lake Campground is a brilliant local campground, and close by you hit upon great locations like Caribou Pass.
