| | Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Argentine Trail in Clear Creek County, Colorado is a really good place to spend some time. A nice place like Horseshoe Basin here at Argentine Trail is too great to miss, and Argentine Pass is in close proximity, and is a good place. You'll have to go far from Silverthorne to get to Argentine Trail but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it.
Not far from Argentine Trail you acquire some wonderful water scenery at Murray Dam, and camping at Hall Valley Campground is always a magnificent experience. |

At Argentine Trail you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while January is frequently the driest month. Argentine Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Clear Lake Campground is a good local campground, and soar down the
| rapids of Clear Creek in a kayak.
If you come at the right time of year, Clear Creek - West Fork offers some delightful whitewater. Through the summertime months at Argentine Trail highs are regularly in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Argentine Trail dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. | |
