  In the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. You'll have to go far from Montrose to get to Bench Trail but trails like these are great. Hey, time for a hike donít you think? Bench Trail in Mesa County, Colorado is a good choice.
While visiting this area in Colorado it's a good idea to go hiking too. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Dolores River, and why not
    camp at Divide Forks Campground while you're here at Bench Trail. That right there is loads of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has it all. There's whitewater on Escalante Creek for all you adrenaline
rush seekers. When you're here at Bench Trail it's always fun to stop at Uncompahgre National Forest; a magnificent location to camp here at Bench Trail is T Bone Spring Campground. Bench Trail is a location that is reasonably waterless commonly. August is the month that gets the most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. All through the long summer days highs here at Bench Trail reach the 90's, and the nighttime is a little chillier of course, ordinarily  
in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; nighttime lows at Bench Trail all through the winter generally drop into the 10's.
