| | Finally, hiking time is here again, and Big Blue Trail in Hinsdale County, Colorado is the outdoors at it's best. Big Blue Trail is very far from the nearest big city and it's one of those places where hiking is great.
No chance of getting bored in Colorado if you like the outdoors. Throughout the summertime months at Big Blue Trail highs are frequently in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Big Blue Trail. Whohoo, so much fun stuff |

Around Big Blue Trail you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. In the San Juan and Jemez Mountains there are many great hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you.
