| | Many miles from the nearest city you have Big South Trail and It's always fun to hike here. Everybody loves Peterson Park, and if you came for an overnight stay Aspen Glen Campground is a splendid location to camp. During the summertime at Big South Trail temperatures are typically in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Big South Trail throughout the winter generally fall into the 0's.

neighborhood of Big South Trail is Cache La Poudre River, and you can take a little trip to Peterson Lake Dam since you're here at Big South Trail. A visit to Colorado is not complete without some hiking. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater
| paddling on Joe Wright Creek.
Willow Creek is a pleasant site to stop at, and camping is available at Long Draw Campground. Big South Trail is pretty dried up typically; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is mostly the driest month. | |
