I have backpacked brown's creek trail since I was a boy, great overnighter. Good people on the trails, but still secluded enough to have some privacy.

| | No chance of getting bored in Colorado if you like the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Browns Creek Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Silvercliff Ranch is a great spot for that; Arkansas River is a nice whitewater spot close by.
Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Chaffee County of Colorado, Browns Creek Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. All through the days of summer at Browns Creek Trail temperatures are typically in the 80's. Summer overnight |

lows drop down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Browns Creek Trail. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more amusing things to do in the Sawatch Range. Stay the night at Angel of Shavano Campground, and
| you can run the rapids of Arkansas River.
There are many hiking trails in the Sawatch Range where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Browns Creek Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and hiking it is great fun any time. Not much rainfall falls here at Browns Creek Trail; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January.
