  Little Battlement Dam is worth visiting while you're here; camping at Bull and Brown Trail is great fun, Glacier Spring Campground is a great local campground. Gunnison River is a magnificent whitewater spot in the vicinity of Bull and Brown Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Spruce Grove Campground is a delightful place to camp.
Summer at Bull and Brown Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with night lows in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's while Bull and Brown Trail night low temperatures during the
    wintertime are in the 10's. Bull and Brown Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and hiking it is great fun any time. It is very dried out here at Bull and Brown Trail generally; October is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is January.
At this river you will always have a good time. A glorious site for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Bull and Brown Trail is Kannah Creek.
