| | Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Burton Creek Trail in Routt County, Colorado is a good choice. There's some flowing water close by, Burton Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and if you came for an overnight stay Dutch Hill Campground is a good spot to camp. Paddling on Elk River is so much fun; East Fork Oliver Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting.

Trail comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Burton Creek Trail. Hiking trails are all over the
| Park Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. Elk River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by, and Sunrise Vista Campground is a fine local campground. While visiting this area in Colorado it's a good idea to go hiking too. Burton Creek Trail is a location that is reasonably dried out regularly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month.
