| | We all need to get out in nature once in a while and CMC South Trail in Boulder County, Colorado is just what you need. Yeah, come up here to the Front Range for a great time. If you came to camp Mitchell Creek Campground is a nice place to do that, and there are some great whitewater spots on Boulder Creek. CMC South Trail is not very near Boulder at all but many people like to hike here to be close to nature.
CMC South Trail gets very little rain; through August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. |
Through the summertime at CMC South Trail temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for CMC South Trail.
There's so much to do here at CMC South Trail
| that you need to camp here for a while, Pawnee Campground is a brilliant place for that; the vistas at Rocky Mountain National Park will blow your mind. Hiking trails like this one are plentyful in the Front Range, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Lefthand Park Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Saint Vrain Creek - South.
