  In the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains there are many great hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Campbell Creek Trail in Montrose County, Colorado is just what you need. For the period of the summertime highs here at Campbell Creek Trail reach the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Campbell Creek Trail. This is a really good river.
    T-Bone Spring is an inspiring place to explore while here, and you can run the rapids of San Miguel River.
Campbell Creek Trail is not very near Montrose at all but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that.
But wait, there's more fun things
to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Don't leave Campbell Creek Trail without first paying a visit to T-Bone Spring, and camping is available at T Bone Spring Campground. If you came for an overnight stay Smokehouse Campground is a glorious location to camp; Escalante Creek is a nice whitewater spot close by. Colorado is a good place for outdoors people.
Campbell Creek Trail is a location that is rather dried out commonly; August is when you get the most rain here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
