This is such a great river. At Chapman Trail you always meet someone from Edwards, and if you're here
| why not stop at Foster Gulch. Camping is available at Elk Wallow Campground, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Fryingpan River. If you are in Colorado during hiking season you have to go hiking.
If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Sawatch Range. Twin Meadows is a good spot, and let's not forget Sawyer Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here. For the period of the summer highs here at Chapman Trail get into the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's | |

with temperatures at Chapman Trail dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Chapman Trail is a trail quite far from Edwards but when you spend some time hiking here you will feel like a whole new person.
