| | Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Chapman Trail in Pitkin County, Colorado is a really good place to spend some time. While you're here at Chapman Trail you will meet lots of people from nearby Edwards, and sites like Twin Meadows are delightful to go to. Chapman Trail is regularly a reasonably dried up place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.

to do in the Sawatch Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Roaring Fork; Foster Gulch is a pleasant location to stop at. If you are in Colorado during hiking season you have to go hiking.
Camping at Elk Wallow Campground is always
| a delightful experience, and nice water scenery is available at Chapman Dam close to Chapman Trail. You'll have to go far from Edwards to get to Chapman Trail but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Sawatch Range, too great to be true.

nights come with lows in the 0's to Chapman Trail. Don't forget to take a magnificent little visit to Sawyer Creek; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Fryingpan River. If you go for the outdoors, you'll like Chapman Trail. Camping is available at Dearhamer Campground, and why not visit nearby Sellar Creek since you're here at Chapman Trail.
