  Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Coal Bank Trail in Montrose County, Colorado is a really good place to spend some time. As long as you like the outdoors you will like Colorado. In the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails where wonderful nature is waiting for you. People from Montrose love to come to Coal Bank Trail, and a quick tour to East Bull Creek is positively a fine idea.
Just can't get enough of the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. You have to certainly dedicate some time to Murray
    Park since you're here at Coal Bank Trail. There's so much to do here at Coal Bank Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Antone Spring Campground is a great place for that. Coal Bank Trail is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Iron Spring Campground is a perfect
local campground; if you come at the right time of year, San Miguel River offers some great whitewater.
A long drive separates Montrose from Coal Bank Trail, but it's one of those places where hiking is great. At Coal Bank Trail you don’t see much precipitation; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Don’t forget to pop by Davis Basin while you're here at Coal Bank Trail; needless to say Goddard Creek flows through this vicinity.
