Continental Divide Trail

  It's a long drive from Espanola to Continental Divide Trail but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice. Colorado is a great place for hikers. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and if you happen to be in Mineral County of Colorado, Continental Divide Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching.
In the San Juan and Jemez Mountains there are many great hiking trails, there's no
    better way to enjoy these mountains. A tremendous site near Continental Divide Trail is Gunsight Pass; Stunner Campground is a good campground nearby. Just can't get enough of the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There's whitewater on
Conejos River for all you thrill seekers. Stay the night at Mix Lake Campground, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of San Juan River - East Fork. This is a popular site for people from Del Norte. Continental Divide Trail sees pretty high levels of rain. During the month of March you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is June. All through the summertime here at Continental Divide Trail, high temperatures usually get into the  
60's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Continental Divide Trail are in the 0's.
