| | We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Dallas Trail in Ouray County, Colorado is such a great place. This location rocks, just explore all the entertaining things to do in the vicinity of Dallas Trail. Near Dallas Trail you stumble on great locations like Stough Draw, and Riverwood Inn and RV Park is a brilliant local campground. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, too brilliant to be true. A trip to Dallas Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Mud Spring.

always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Carroll Brown Dam is beautiful and it's in the vicinity of Dallas Trail, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Mineral Creek - South. Get yourself into a kayak and hit San Miguel River, and some of the water close by flows,
| like West Fork West Dallas Creek.
Dallas Trail is pretty dry ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most; June is the month with the least moisture. Through the warm days of summer at Dallas Trail temperatures are generally in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Dallas Trail nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. A visit to
Box Factory Park invigorates the soul, and swing by Vance Creek it's a magnificent location to check out. Dallas Trail being so far away from the nearest city it is a great escape from the city.
