  There are many wonderful hiking trails in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Devil Mountain Trail is in a quite desolate area and it is a really good trail. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more fun things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. A trip to Ford Spring will fill your soul with good feelings, and Piedra Hunter Campground is a good local campground. Can’t wait to get out in nature, Devil Mountain Trail in Archuleta County, Colorado is just the place.
You must definitely dedicate
    some time to Monument Park while you're here at Devil Mountain Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Mesa Spring Hunter Campground is a nice spot to camp. Through the warm days of summer at Devil Mountain Trail temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. For the duration of the
dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Devil Mountain Trail.
Piedra River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Horse Mountain Springs; in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piedra River. With so many outdoors activities available in Colorado you'll never get bored.
