| | There are many hiking trails in the San Juan Mountains, it's a great hiking area. We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Devils Hole Trail in Saguache County, Colorado is a perfect place for getting out. In Colorado you never run out of outdoors fun.
Around Devils Hole Trail you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the San Juan Mountains. Don't forget to take a fine little visit to Park Creek, |
and nearby Burnt Draw is a fine place to go. Devils Hole Trail is a good place to camp, Cebolla Campground is a good place, and Lake Fork Gunnison River is a perfect whitewater spot close by.
This river is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Cebolla River close to Devils
| Hole Trail, and you can stay the night at Spruce Campground. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Devils Hole Trail, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Devils Hole Trail temperatures drop to the-10's.
