| | Gotta get out of the city man, and Divide Trail in Routt County, Colorado is a good choice. Far from civilization you find Divide Trail and hiking it is great fun any time. In the Park Range you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Divide Trail is pretty dry usually; December is when you get the most snow here, and August is the month with the least moisture.
All year is a magnificent time in the Park Range if you like the outdoors. If you come at the right time of year, Elk River offers some pleasant |

whitewater, and it's a nice idea to visit Butcherknife Creek. Through the long summer days at Divide Trail temperatures are mostly in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the
| 20's, and nighttime lows at Divide Trail throughout the winter usually dip into the-10's. Colorado is a great outdoors state.
This river is so great. There are some great whitewater spots on Elk River; if you came for an overnight stay Base Campground is a splendid site to camp. Granite Campground is a tremendous campground here, and a quick journey to Long Park Creek is without doubt a magnificent idea.
