| | Gotta get out of the city man, and Eaglesmere Trail in Summit County, Colorado is such a great place. You'll have to go far from Silverthorne to get to Eaglesmere Trail but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that. Take a little tour to North Fork Elliott Creek if you're here at Eaglesmere Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Blue River offers some brilliant whitewater. In Colorado you never run out of outdoors fun.

at Eaglesmere Trail commonly; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
This river is a great place to visit. Camping at Willows Campground is always a pleasant experience, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's
| for you then, we recommend Blue River. Through the summertime months at Eaglesmere Trail temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Eaglesmere Trail.
Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Park Range. If you came to camp Big Green Campground is a tremendous site to do that, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Silverthorne here. | |
