| | Hiking trails are all over the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Farmers Creek Trail is quite far from the nearest urban center and trails like these are great. There are some great whitewater spots on Rio Grande, and you can stay the night at Palisade Campground.
