Put on your hiking shoes and hit the trail, Frink Trail in Montezuma County, Colorado is a good choice. This river is so wonderful. Stay the night at Cortez Mesa Verde KOA. Through the warm months highs here at Frink Trail reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Frink Trail temperatures sink to the 10's. Frink Trail is pretty waterless     ordinarily; most of the rain falls all through October, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Visiting Mesa Verde National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and there's whitewater on Dolores River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. While visiting this area in Colorado it's a good idea to go hiking too.
