Why not camp at Willow Creek Campground if you're here at Gilsonite Trail, and Willow Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Colorado River. Gilsonite Trail is pretty dry ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of     precipitation. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Gilsonite Trail reach the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's.
