  Grays Peak Trail is located quite a long drive from Silverthorne but hiking it is great fun any time. With so many outdoors activities available in Colorado you'll never get bored. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Park Range. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Grays Peak Trail has to offer, you can camp at Clear Lake Campground; get yourself into a kayak and hit Woods Creek.
There's so much to do here at Grays Peak Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Mizpah Campground is a tremendous
    place for that, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Clear Creek. Through the warm days of summer here at Grays Peak Trail, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. The winter comes with highs
in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Grays Peak Trail descend into the-10's.
This river is always fun. Horseshoe Basin is a lovely spot any time of year; you might also want to pay a visit to Falls Gulch since you're here at Grays Peak Trail. Gotta get out of the city man, and Grays Peak Trail in Clear Creek County, Colorado is the outdoors at it's best. Hiking trails are all over the Park Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains.
Grays Peak Trail is a location that is pretty dried out typically; all through July this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest.
