This part of Colorado has a great deal of available outdoors activities. High Trail is pretty waterless typically; throughout the month of October you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is January. This river has so much to offer. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kannah Creek, and camping at High Trail is perfect fun, Little Bear Campground is a perfect local campground. At High Trail during the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's.     Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at High Trail plunge into the 10's.
