Finally, hiking time is here again, and Highline Trail in Fremont County, Colorado is a really good place to spend some time. So much amusing stuff close to Highline Trail, just astonishing. Monument is one of the destinations that are fine to go to nearby. So many cool things to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, too perfect to be true. Highline Trail is a great site to visit for more than one day, Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA is a great site to camp nearby,
| and don’t forget to pop by Locke Park since you're here at Highline Trail. Highline Trail is not far at all from Canon City; Lion Canyon is a great place to spend some time.
Oak Creek Campground is a pleasant campground nearby; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River. All through the days of summer highs here at Highline Trail reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
