  We all need to get out in nature once in a while and Horseshoe and Idlewild Trail in Grand County, Colorado is such a great place. If you are in Colorado during hiking season you have to go hiking. All year is a fine time in the Park Range if you fancy the outdoors. You're sure to stumble upon some cheerful folks from Silverthorne here; get dripping wet paddling on Colorado River.
In the Park Range you'll find lots of hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are in fact plentiful here at Horseshoe
    and Idlewild Trail. Horseshoe and Idlewild Trail is a long drive away from Silverthorne but it is a good trail.
Camping is available at Byers Creek Campground; some of the water close by flows, like Hull Creek. Drift down the rapids of Fraser River in a kayak; a fine location
to camp here at Horseshoe and Idlewild Trail is Sugarloaf Campground. Horseshoe and Idlewild Trail gets very little precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
Summertime highs at Horseshoe and Idlewild Trail regularly tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Horseshoe and Idlewild Trail. Places like Church Park are fine to take a look at, and swing by Upson Creek it's a magnificent location to explore.
