| | Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in nature a bit and Hunts Lake Trail in Fremont County, Colorado is a perfect place for getting out. Hunts Lake Trail is in a quite desolate area and hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. Hunts Lake Trail is a location that is relatively dehydrated commonly; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is January. In the Sangre De Cristo Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area.
San Isabel National Forest is a good local forest, |
and paddling on Arkansas River is so much fun. Hunts Lake Trail is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Four Seasons RV Park is a nice site to camp nearby, and Green Gulch is undeniably a glorious location to visit.

| during hiking season. Yeah, come up here to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for a glorious time. Stay the night at Broken Arrow Resort; whitewater paddling is great on Arkansas River.
Summertime highs at Hunts Lake Trail typically tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Hunts Lake Trail. | |
