Illinois River Trail

  Illinois River Trail is a long drive away from Silverthorne but it is a great escape from the city. Donít forget to visit Jack Park while you're here at Illinois River Trail. Willow Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby; you can stay the night at Upper South Fork Campground. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Cache La Poudre River, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Surprise Beach. Illinois River Trail is a wonderful spot to visit
    for more than one day, Teller City Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby. Illinois River Trail is close to State Forest State Park which is a beautiful place. Illinois River Trail gets very little precipitation. May is the
wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Illinois River Trail get into the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows at Illinois River Trail through the winter ordinarily dip into the 0's.
