Indian Point Trail gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. There's so much to do here at Indian Point Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Jumbo Reservoir Campground is a splendid site for that, and if you come at the right time of year, Kannah Creek offers some great whitewater. For the period of the summertime highs here at Indian Point     Trail get into the 90's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Indian Point Trail fall into the 10's. Take a side visit to Coal Creek. Indian Point Trail is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Glacier Spring Campground is a brilliant local campground, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Kannah Creek. This river is a great place to visit.
