| | This part of Colorado is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Ironedge Trail is a long drive away from Edwards but it sure is a nice trail. There are many hiking trails in the Sawatch Range where beautiful scenery awaits you. Camping is available at Yeoman Park Campground, and Yeoman Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit.
All the outdoors cool things in the Sawatch Range will keep you coming back over and over. You can run the rapids of Eagle River in the vicinity of Ironedge Trail, and a great site to camp here at Ironedge Trail is |

Fulford Cave Campground. It is very dehydrated here at Ironedge Trail frequently; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. Near Ironedge Trail you come across White Quail Gulch which is a great location to check out, and there's
| whitewater on Fryingpan River for all you adrenaline kick people.
Throughout the months of summer highs here at Ironedge Trail reach the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Ironedge Trail. Fulford Cave Spring is an inspiring spot to have a look at while here; there are plenty of people from Edwards here at Ironedge Trail. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Caliente Spring.
