| | While visiting this area in Colorado it's a good idea to go hiking too. Soar down the rapids of Big Thompson River in a kayak; folks from Fort Collins-Loveland love to come here. In the Front Range there are many great hiking trails where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains.
Paddling on Big Thompson River is so much fun, and Cedar Park is a tremendous place. Spruce Gulch is a delightful spot to spend some time at, and why not camp at Seven Pines Campground and Cabin since you're here at Jug Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's |
to Jug Trail; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Jug Trail dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
Jug Trail is pretty dried out commonly; the month with most of the rain is
| July, and the driest month is December. So many entertaining things to do here in the Front Range, too tremendous to be true. There's always Cedar Springs Dam to have a look at near Jug Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch is a good location to camp. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area next to Jug Trail has to offer. Rocky Mountain National Park is a perfect site in close proximity to Jug Trail.

of Colorado, Jug Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Jug Trail is not very near Fort Collins-Loveland at all but if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice.
