| | Hitting the trails is always a fun thing to do and Lake Creek Trail in Eagle County, Colorado is a really good place to spend some time. In the Sawatch Range there are many great hiking trails, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. Lake Creek Trail is pretty waterless usually; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Bear Cat Spring.

If you came for an overnight stay Yeoman Park Campground is a perfect place to camp, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Eagle River.
