| | Colorado is a great place for hikers. There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Front Range, it's a great hiking area. Around Lake Park Trail you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally August, that's the one that rains the most; January is the month with the least moisture. Lake Park Trail is very far from the nearest big city and if you're looking for a good place to go hiking this is a good choice.

need. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on South Platte River; some wonderful nature is available in Pike National Forest. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Front Range. Camping at Lake Park
