Lake Park Trail

  Lake Park Trail is a long drive away from Canon City but it sure is a nice trail. Outdoors people generally like this part of Colorado. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Lake Park Trail in Park County, Colorado is just what you need. Hiking trails are all over the Front Range where beautiful scenery awaits you.
Places like Lake Park are delightful to stop by, and drift down the rapids of South Platte River - North Fork in a kayak. That
    right there is loads of amusing things already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. Near Lake Park Trail you hit upon Hankins Pass which is a wonderful place to stop at. Here at Lake Park Trail there are plenty of folks from
Lake George, and Spruce Campground is a nice campground nearby. Pike National Forest is a good place to go to on a delightful day; you can stay the night at Spruce Grove Campground. Paddling on South Platte River is so much fun, and some magnificent nature is available in Pike National Forest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Lake Park Trail. Don't miss out on a spree to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument since you're here  
at Lake Park Trail. Summertime highs at Lake Park Trail frequently tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Lake Park Trail during the wintertime regularly dip into the 0's.
