| | There are many hiking trails in the Front Range, there's no better way to enjoy these mountains. This part of Colorado is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. A long drive separates Colorado Springs from Long Hollow Trail, but trails like these are great.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Front Range has to offer. Rock Springs Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend South Platte River. If you came for an overnight stay |

Devils Head Campground is a brilliant place to camp; there's whitewater on South Platte River for all you adrenaline junkies. For the duration of the long summer days here at Long Hollow Trail, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's, and all through the night it cools down
| to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Long Hollow Trail.
Not much precipitation falls here at Long Hollow Trail; the month with most of the rain is May, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Long Hollow Trail in Douglas County, Colorado is just the place.
