Hiking trails are all over the Sangre De Cristo Mountains where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains. Don't forget to take a nice little tour to Middle Fork North Crestone Creek, and if you're here why not visit Venable Pass. It is very dry here at Loop Trail commonly; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest.

in Saguache County of Colorado, Loop Trail is a great local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Loop Trail is a great site to visit for more than one day, Lake Creek Campground is a great site to camp nearby.
Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might
| not ever wanna return back home again. Don't miss out on a tour to Great Sand Dunes National Monument while you're here at Loop Trail, and North Crestone Campground is a magnificent local campground. Through the long summer days highs here at Loop Trail reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 30's, and night lows at Loop Trail all through the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 0's. A tour to Groundhog Basin revitalizes the soul, and do go to Lake Fork North Crestone Creek since you're here at Loop Trail.
