  There are many wonderful hiking trails in the Front Range where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Lost Lake Trail is located quite a long drive from Fort Collins-Loveland but it is a fun place to hike for the whole family. Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, and Lost Lake Trail in Larimer County, Colorado is such a great place. A fine place in the vicinity of Lost Lake Trail is Stormy Peaks Pass.
With so many outdoors activities available in Colorado you'll never get bored. Lost Lake Trail is a location that is pretty
    dried out generally; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest of the months is December.
A visit to Rocky Mountain National Park is worthwhile, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre
River. Throughout the summertime here at Lost Lake Trail, high temperatures usually get into the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lost Lake Trail. Fish Creek Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and a short journey to Lost Falls is always worthwhile.
If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Front Range. If you came for an overnight stay Tom Bennett Campground is a fine site to camp, and Cache La Poudre River - South Fork is a fine whitewater spot close by.
