At Lost Lake Dam near Lost Lake Trail there are some out of the ordinary things to see; Blue River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. Campground, and paddling on Blue River is so much fun. There's so much to do here at Lost Lake Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Prairie Point Campground is a great place for that, and folks from Silverthorne love to come here. You'll have to go far from Silverthorne
| to get to Lost Lake Trail but hiking along this trail is very enjoyable. Summertime at Lost Lake Trail comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lost Lake Trail descend into the 0's. In the Park Range you'll find lots of hiking trails where beautiful scenery awaits you. | |
