| | Colorado has so much to offer nature lovers. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Slate River, and camping is available at Lost Lake Campground. A nice site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Lowline Trail is Oh Be Joyful Creek, and camping at Crested Butte Mountain Resort is always a wonderful experience.
Not much rainfall falls here at Lowline Trail; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.

in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. During the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Lowline Trail dipping down into the-10's during winter nights.
