Mailbox Trail

  This part of Colorado is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. Finally, hiking time is here again, and Mailbox Trail in Mesa County, Colorado is the outdoors at it's best. Mailbox Trail is located quite a long drive from Grand Junction but hiking is such a fun thing to do and this is a great place to do that.
In the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains you'll find lots of hiking trails, it's a great hiking area. Mailbox Branch Blue Creek is a fine site
    to go to, and why not camp at Divide Forks Campground since you're here at Mailbox Trail. Be careful coming to the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, you might not ever wanna return home again. Visit Bunch Ground Branch Blue Creek while
you're here at Mailbox Trail, and a good place like Blue Creek Park here at Mailbox Trail is too great to miss. This is a popular location for folks from Gateway, and Dominguez Campground is a great local campground. Drift down the rapids of Dolores River in a kayak. Through the summertime months highs here at Mailbox Trail get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with  
lows in the 10's to Mailbox Trail. Mailbox Trail is a location that is quite dried up mostly. The wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is June.
