| | This part of Colorado is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. McIntyre Trail is near North Draw which is unquestionably worth going to, and there's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline people. Camping is available at Browns Park Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Joe Wright Creek.

McIntyre Trail is a location that is rather dry generally; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Because McIntyre Trail is very
| far from civilization what a great place for hiking it is. And if that's not enough there's plenty more amusing stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Camping at Hooligan Roost Campground is always a tremendous experience, and there's some flowing water nearby, Housmer Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here.
All through the summer at McIntyre Trail temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while McIntyre Trail nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. | |
