Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Medicine Bow Mountains is unbeatable! Stay the night at Hooligan Roost Campground; South Fork La Garde Creek is right next door to Medicine Bow Trail and is always a joy to visit. Medicine Bow Trail is in a quite desolate area and it is a good trail.
If you fancy a little side trip, try Ute Pass, and why not take a little journey to North Fork |
La Garde Creek if you're here. Medicine Bow Trail is commonly a rather waterless location; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February.
