| | Mesa-Cortina Trail is a long drive away from Silverthorne but many people like to hike here to be close to nature. Colorado has lots of outdoors activities. If you come at the right time of year, Tenmile Creek offers some wonderful whitewater; Ryan Gulch is a glorious location to go to. Gotta get out of the city man, and Mesa-Cortina Trail in Summit County, Colorado is a really good place to spend some time.
Camping at Mesa-Cortina Trail is pleasant fun, Heaton Campground is a pleasant local campground, and there are plenty of people from Silverthorne |

here. South Willow Creek is a magnificent location to visit, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Blue River. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Park Range. Sentinel Island Campground is a brilliant campground
| here, and some of the water nearby flows, like Middle Willow Creek.
Through the warm months here at Mesa-Cortina Trail, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mesa-Cortina Trail. There are many hiking trails in the Park Range where you can absorb the beauty of these mountains.
