Hiking trails are all over the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, it's a great hiking area. Middle Point Trail is a trail quite far from Montrose but there's great natural beauty awaiting you along it. The warmest time of the year at Middle Point Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Middle Point Trail.

Camping at T Bone Spring Campground is always a great experience; a tremendous place to camp here at Middle Point Trail is Smokehouse Campground. No chance of getting bored in Colorado if you like the outdoors.

| in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Since you're here at Middle Point Trail why not stop at Haley Draw, and there's whitewater on San Miguel River for all you adrenaline kick people. Middle Point Trail is a location that is relatively dry typically; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and June is the month with the least moisture.
