| | Midway Trail is in a quite desolate area and it's one of those places where hiking is great. This part of Colorado is always a pleasure to visit during hiking season. At Midway Trail through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Midway Trail dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
That right there is plenty of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Park Range has it all. Rock Creek Campground is a perfect local campground, |
and get wet paddling on Colorado River. Blacktail Creek Campground is a great campground nearby. If you're here at Midway Trail, you could have a look at High Rock Creek, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Rock Creek.
In the Park Range there are many great hiking trails
| where you can truly take in all the beauty of these mountains. Midway Trail is pretty dried out regularly; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem, Midway Trail in Grand County, Colorado is a perfect place for getting out.
