| | Mill-Castle Trail is a very long way away from civilization and it is a really good trail. While visiting this area in Colorado it's a good idea to go hiking too. For the duration of the summer months here at Mill-Castle Trail, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mill-Castle Trail. Around Mill-Castle Trail you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is generally October, |

that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is June. If you came to camp Gunnison Lakeside Resort is a pleasant place to do that, and there are some good whitewater spots on Anthracite Creek - Ruby Fork. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for
| you then we recommend Oh Be Joyful Creek. There's so much to do here at Mill-Castle Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Lost Lake Campground is a nice spot for that, and a magnificent place close by is Storm Pass. | |
